Since the day Donald Trump announced he was running for president in June of 2015 the media, political pundits and long-time politicians have met Trump with mockery and scorn in his efforts to “Make America Great Again”.
First, Donald Trump was never going to file the necessary paperwork and financials to officially run for the office of the presidency. Then, he was simply running in the Republican primaries as a media stunt to promote his business and was branded as a “clown”. In fact, as early as June of 2015 Politico ran a story titled “Donald Trump and the Clown Show”, mocking his chances of even making it through the primaries.
Since then, nearly every political expert and pollster had insisted that Trump won’t win a single state during the primaries, then he wouldn’t ever become the Republican presidential candidate and he certainly had no chance of becoming President of the United States. Once their worst fears had been realized and Donald Trump won the election in November of 2016, the media took their denial syndrome to a new level, insisting Trump wouldn’t take office, would be impeached shortly after and certainly wouldn’t make it through his first year as president. Well, it appears Trump has proved his critics wrong once again, as he has surpassed each of those milestones.
After being wrong about Trump’s chances at success for over 2 years now, members of congress and the mainstream media are “stunned” that not only is Trump still standing, but his resolve hasn’t wavered an inch and he is still fighting back on a daily basis. DC Whispers reports that high level DC political operatives expressed their shock, and frustration, that President Trump cannot even be slowed down despite a never ending media blitz against him.
Today members of Congress and the media are said to be amazed by Donald Trump’s resiliency and ability to continue fighting back against the ongoing effort to diminish and/or destroy his presidency.
“Frankly, I’m stunned he’s still here and I’m not the only one. I don’t know how he does it. The guy just doesn’t quit.”
So says a D.C. political operative with ties to senior members of Congress and various members of local and national media. This source repeated how frustrated the President’s political and media enemies have become as Mr. Trump continues to shrug off their attacks and then fire back with attacks of his own:
“They (House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer) attended a budget meeting with White House officials very recently and apparently left that meeting spitting mad. They weren’t upset by policy differences so much as personality clashes. They truly despise this president. It’s all they think of – how to get him out. The whole system is pressuring figures like Pelosi and Ryan and McConnell to do something about what is being called the ‘Trump problem’. The lobbyists that grew so fat during the Obama years might be the most upset of all. They can’t figure the President out and it has them scared. They’re used to intimidating politicians into giving them what they want. Trump won’t be intimidated. It’s a whole new world for them and they don’t like it one bit.”
The political operative states that ranking Democrats and lobbyist “can’t figure the President out and it has them scared.” Perhaps this is because they have never gone up against a man who actually puts America’s interests above his own, is a hardcore fighter and never backs down regardless of the vast forces fighting against him. No, they have become use to weak-in-the-knees Republicans who cower at the first sign of negative media pressure and will jump at the chance to capitulate to the Democrats in exchange for quietly enriching themselves at the taxpayer’s expense.
Trump, on the other hand, welcomes the assaults and actually encourages them at times using his powerful social media presence on Twitter. Just this week, President Trump lashed out at Democrats Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer after they failed to show up at a planned meeting with the president over a simple tweet.
Meeting with “Chuck and Nancy” today about keeping government open and working. Problem is they want illegal immigrants flooding into our Country unchecked, are weak on Crime and want to substantially RAISE Taxes. I don’t see a deal!

Despite the media and Democrats constantly criticizing his use of Twitter, they hate that Trump’s tweets are effective and that’s the very reason the public hears such an outcry from them. In fact, you can typically gauge the effectiveness of Trump’s tweets by the level of outrage being projected by the mainstream media pundits. The higher the rage, the more you know Trump’s tweets hit home or a sore spot with his opposition.
According to DC Whispers, their political operatives admitted that Trump’s use of Twitter is the “#1 source of frustration” among his critics.
Apparently the #1 source of frustration among most of Mr. Trump’s enemies is his use of Twitter.
“The Twitter King. That’s what they call him. There are even rumors members of Congress have personally reached out to Twitter executives to curtail the President’s ability to use the platform. The President sets the media agenda with a single tweet. They’ve never dealt with anything like it. You should hear the CNN people around here. They say ‘Trump’ like it’s the most profane word to have ever been uttered by anyone in the history of humankind. Every breath Trump takes is like nails on the chalkboard to these people.”
With nearly 44 million followers on Twitter, President Trump effectively has a massive media platform of his own in which he can circumvent the massive media bias against him. If Twitter were to suspend Trump’s account, as some of the most radical leftists are crowing for, they would lose a massive amount of traffic which translates into funds they would receive from advertisers. This means, despite the crying on the left, it is very unlikely that Twitter would shoot itself in the foot by suspending Trump’s Twitter account, unless they are guaranteed a way to make up for the loss in profits they would incur.
Perhaps Robin Roberts summed up the media’s disbelief that Trump is still standing perfectly on Good Morning America today when she said, “‘Why does trump still have his job and we’re losing ours?” This is an obvious reference to the almost daily reports of high-level media personalities losing their jobs due to accusations of sexual harassment and misconduct. Just today, Matt Lauer of NBC’s Today Show was fired from his prestigious position after substantiated claims of sexual assault.
To answer Robin Robert’s question as to why Trump still has his job and media pundits are losing theirs, it’s simply because powerful left-wing reporters appear to have been abusing their power for many years by assaulting and taking advantage of women they work with. On the other hand, the only accusations against Trump mysteriously evaporated after he won the election, after surfacing only a month before while being championed by Gloria Allred.
As the media is scratching their heads as to how in the world they found themselves losing their jobs at a record pace while President Trump, who has arguably received the most negative coverage from the mainstream media in America’s history, is not only still standing, but fighting on a daily basis to move forward his agenda of Making America Great Again.
For those in the media and establishment politics who may be unfamiliar with what is occurring in America, Trump is showing them exactly what “winning” looks like, just as he promised during his many campaign rallies. The only statement he may have been wrong about was when he told the crowd they would “get tired of winning” after winning for so long, as I suspect Trump’s voters are enjoying every minute of his presidency.
