The infamous “Trump Dossier”, which was presented to the public and Trump himself as “intelligence”, has now been revealed as nothing more than opposition research paid for by the DNC to benefit Hillary Clinton’s campaign during the 2016 election.

What many of Trump’s supporters already knew has finally come to light in the mainstream news today as The Washington Post revealed that the funding for the “Trump dossier” came from the Democratic Party, and was nothing more than unproven opposition research with no foundation in the intelligence community. In essence, this means the author of the dossier, retired UK spy Christopher Steele, was paid an obscene amount of money for a few pages of outlandish accusations about Donald Trump.

The Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee helped fund research that resulted in a now-famous dossier containing allegations about President Trump’s connections to Russia and possible coordination between his campaign and the Kremlin, people familiar with the matter said.

Marc E. Elias, a lawyer representing the Clinton campaign and the DNC, retained Fusion GPS, a Washington firm, to conduct the research.

After that, Fusion GPS hired dossier author Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence officer with ties to the FBI and the U.S. intelligence community, according to those people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

Elias and his law firm, Perkins Coie, retained the company in April 2016 on behalf of the Clinton campaign and the DNC. Before that agreement, Fusion GPS’s research into Trump was funded by an unknown Republican client during the GOP primary.

The Clinton campaign and the DNC, through the law firm, continued to fund Fusion GPS’s research through the end of October 2016, days before Election Day.

The media, Democrats and anti-Trump leftists repeatedly cited this Trump dossier as the basis of their “Russian collusion” narrative. Buzzfeed originally published the dossier, which was riddled with spelling mistakes, earlier this year with the caveat that the revelations within it were either incorrect or unproven.

The dossier has been proven to be nothing more than opposition research, originally paid for by a yet unknown Republican donor or politician who did not want Trump to win the GOP primary. After Trump secured the Republican nomination the funding by the unknown GOP operative dried up, leading GPS Fusion to halt their operations. However, it wasn’t long until a lawyer working on behalf of the DNC decided to pay GPS Fusion to continue work on their anti-Trump dossier for the purpose of using it against him during the 2016 election.

The only problem is that the Trump dossier has turned out to be completely fabricated by its author, likely for the purpose of reaping the monetary benefits, as even the FBI paid Christopher Steele AFTER the election to continue his research into possible Trump-Russia collusion. I imagine Steele, having being essentially paid by both the Democrats and the FBI, has made out like a bandit by fabricating salacious stories about Donald Trump.

John McCain was so excited about the Trump dossier that he sent his assistant to the United Kingdom to pick up a copy of this dossier and proceed to share it with intelligence agencies, particularly James Comey of the FBI.

In short, the retired British intelligence agent who originally put together the dossier for GPS Fusion, Christopher Steele, couldn’t find any actual opposition data to use effectively against Trump. However, Steele stood to make a hefty amount of money by keeping Fusion GPS interested so they would continue paying him for his “research” into Trump, leading him to pen a “dossier” full of ridiculous and downright false accusations. After all, any political campaign would gladly fork over millions of dollars for a dossier with such explosive revelations that would almost certainly spell the end of their political opponent.

A completely fake opposition research document, paid for by the Democrats, was used as the basis by America’s intelligence community and media to launch a massive investigation of Trump along with anyone closely involved in his campaign. A simple document written by a retired spy in Britain who is unwilling to testify to Congress as to the dossier’s validity caused an avalanche of accusations from the media.

Imagine the millions of dollars being wasted by Robert Mueller’s “Trump-Russia collusion” investigation, as well as the money being spent by Trump’s family and staff forced to pay for legal defense. All of this is because of a completely unfounded opposition research document, bought and paid for by the Democrats. It is in no way legitimate intelligence that involved actual intelligence agencies.

In other words, the entire basis of the Trump-Russia dossier was simply written by “some retired guy” in the UK who was paid enormous sums of money by the DNC for opposition research against Trump. Of course, I imagine it would be in Chris Steele’s best interest to keep gathering “intelligence” on Trump, whether true or not, simply to keep collecting a paycheck. In fact, this dossier can’t even be called opposition research, as it would imply that actual legitimate research and fact-finding efforts took place. Rather, the dossier is nothing more than “fan-fiction”. A fantastical story that sprung from the mind of Christopher Steele, and likely other random people he knew, with the main objective of justifying the massive amount of money he was being paid.

The revelations that a country-wide investigation has expended massive amounts of resources into a “Russia collusion” investigation based on nothing more than a fake document that no one is willing to back up should show the country exactly how politicized every intelligence agency has become. All of the senate investigations, unmasking of Trump’s campaign staff, spying, wiretapping, news reports and even a special counsel composed of Democrat donor lawyers funded by taxpayers has come to pass because of a fake document.

It certainly appears as if President Trump is going to be proven right once again, as he has said many times that the entire Russian collusion narrative was nothing more than a giant excuse formulated by the Democrats in attempts to justify a horribly run campaign, flawed candidate and one of the biggest political defeats in modern history.

This story should be front and center in the minds of every American voter, for it shows just how deep the corruption, incompetence and political influencing is in our intelligence community. The entire Trump-Russia investigation is based on lies paid for by the Democratic Party. The DNC was juiced for millions of dollars by the lawyer who then paid GPS Fusion who then paid Christopher Steele, who simply fabricated a fantastical story about Trump to keep the money flowing.
